Adaptation of the Dobrzeń Substation

#EltelNetworksTeam signed an agreement to adapt the Dobrzeń Substation to the new connection of the 400 kV Dobrzeń - Detmarovice overhead power line. We plan to complete the contracted works by the end of 2024.

As part of the project, we will carry out a number of important activities aimed at improving and modernizing the substation's infrastructure. In particular, this includes the delivery and replacement of sectional protection, as well as the adaptation of the 400 kV switchgear bay in the Dobrzeń substation. Works necessary to launch the new power line include:

• wiring adjustments
• changes to descriptions in secondary circuit cabinets of existing bays
• initiating cooperation with security at the opposite end of the line

Additionally, the investment includes the replacement of teleprotections, adaptation of telecommunications systems and work on the Wielopole Substation. After this stage, we will launch the new connection, conduct post- assembly tests and update the documentation.
