#EltelNetworksTeam conducts training on the Special Act

At the end of January, our formal and legal team conducted professional training for employees of ENERGA - OPERATOR S.A., Branch in Olsztyn. The meeting concerned:

• changes to the Act of July 24, 2015 on the preparation and implementation of strategic investments in the field of transmission networks and their application in the construction of 110 kV power lines, and
• the provisions of the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of November 21, 2023 on the list of accompanying investments dealing with the reconstruction of existing power lines constituting elements of the distribution network with a voltage equal to or higher than 110 kV.

The most important assumptions of the special act and regulation are:

• defining a precise list of accompanying investments regarding the reconstruction of power lines with a voltage of 110 kV and higher
• ensuring uniform development of the power grid and supporting economic growth, which was reflected in the selection of investments covering the entire territory of Poland
• these investments are of key importance for maintaining continuity of power supply to consumers, especially in the context of a dynamic increase in demand for electricity
• implementation of investment projects related to the reconstruction of distribution networks is an important element in achieving the strategic goals defined in the Polish Energy Policy until 2040, adopted by the Council of Ministers in 2021.

The training, organized by #EltelNetworksTeam, had an interesting, interactive formula with the division of participants into roles, so as to present the difficult matter of legal provisions in an accessible and interesting way. It was interesting, dynamic, with substantive discussion and active participation of the listeners!
