Ostrołęka substation - assembly works

Last month, the #EltelNetworksTeam began assembly work at SE Ostrołęka as part of the project "Expansion of the 400/220/110 kV Ostrołęka substation for connection of the unit at the Ostrołęka Power Plant."

The scope of our work includes the adaptation of the Ostrołęka substation in terms of secondary circuits and telecommunications to enable:

  • commissioning a 400 kV power line from the Ostrołęka Power Plant unit
  • introduction of a 110 kV line for the Ostrołęka Power Plant General Needs Transformer (TPW1), and
  • installation of new energy metering in the scope of 15 kV switchgears installed in Ostrołęka substation

Our activities include the design, installation and commissioning stages, including synchronization tests of the 400 kV block line. In recent weeks, we have installed new cable connections inside the R110 kV GIS switchgear, in the R400 kV GIS building and between the R110 kV GIS switchgear and the 15 kV RSN at AT3. In addition, cable connections were made to the 220 kV switchgear building, and excavation was carried out for the widening of the cable duct at the RSN 15 kV AT3 building and reconstruction of fire barriers in the cable ducts.

Work was also started in field No. 9 of R110 kV on upgrading the secondary circuits to make them compatible with the teleprotection for the commissioning of the new line relation for TPO1 at Ostrołęka Power Plant. At the same time, positive FAT tests were carried out for the energy measurement cabinet for R15 kV.

We continue to carry out continuous coordination of work between Ostrołęka Power Plant and contractors who are carrying out work on Ostrołęka substation in cooperation with Eltel Networks. The task is complex due to the variety of entities involved and the varied scopes of work. However, we always act professionally and with determination, adhering to the established schedules.

Bravo #EltelNetworksTeam!
